Fees / Payment info.

At your initial consultation, fees for the treatment, hospital and anaesthetist will be fully discussed. A printed estimate of fees including the item numbers will be available. Private hospitals may require you to have Hospital Cover to be covered for theatre and ward costs. If you do not have private health insurance an estimate of fees can be obtained from the hospital with the relevant item numbers for your procedure.

Please check with your private health fund what Dental Coverage you have.

Payments

All payments are due at the time of the appointment. We do not issue accounts under most circumstances.

Payments methods include: cash, EFTPOS, cheque and credit card (VISA, MasterCard and AMEX).

Please note: all credit card payments attract a 2% surcharge.

HICAPS

Sydney Specialist Dental Group currently employs the HICAPS (Health Industry Claims and Payments Service) electronic claiming system. You must bring your health fund card to use this service.

Otherwise, you will need to submit your receipt to your health fund following your appointment in order to receive the relevant benefits.
